At Angelheart Woodworking
we are happy to accept any project submission for a bid. Below you will find rates for
both "bid work" as well as "Time & Materials". It is our
experience that you will generally save money when using the time and materials approach
to a project. In this type of approach there will be a deposit in an amount that
corresponds to the project depending on the projected cost (within 20%) of the project.
This is required simply to ensure that the materials will be paid in full before work
begins. You will also receive a contract that states what work is to be done and the
projected finish date. Upon delivery the final balance will be due in full. For larger
projects billed in this manner, there may be an additional payment required depending on
the size of the project. This payment would be due after a designated amount of progress
has been made.
If you choose to approach the project with a bid price, the policies
stated below apply. While we have incorporated a few new policies regarding bids, those
may not apply to new customers depending on the size of the project. In addition to these
policies, Angelheart Woodworking
requires a deposit equaling 50% of the total bid price less any "bid-fee", if
any, already paid. As with the "Time &Materials" work, projects assigned to
bid will be bound by contract. In addition to this contract, larger bid projects will have
the added luxury of an artistic rendition of what can be expected from this bid. That is,
we will design and draw up plans for your project so you can view them and make any
necessary changes before construction would begin. Upon acceptance of the bid, we will
submit a contract which will need to be signed and returned with a required deposit before
work can begin.
Since every new project will be treated as an original creation, we
recognize the fact with every project comes new circumstances and conditions. We therefore
only use these "Rates & Policies" as simple guidelines. Our commitment to
quality and the satisfaction of our customers is foremost !

Hourly
Rates:
Contracts
based on time & materials:
All contracts based
on this principle will be billed at $6000 per hour. All materials will be billed with an appropriate
handling fee. All materials will be taxed in
accordance with the laws of the State of Minnesota. A nominal shop fee will be applied to
contracts which are expected to exceed $2,50000.
Contracts
based on a Bid:
All bid based
contracts will billed at $6500 per hour. All materials will be assessed an appropriate handling
fee as well any applicable taxes in accordance with State law. In addition to these charges, shop fees will be charged
on all contracts and will be assessed in proportion to the total amount of the bid.
Note: Bid contracts may
require a minimum of a $25000 deposit. This
fee is subject to the discretion of the Angelheart Woodworking and generally
will not exceed $50000. The bid-fee is a non-refundable deposit,
which, upon a contractual agreement, will be applied directly to the total contracted
price. In addition to this new policy regarding the
bid-fee, bids will only be given for projects expected to total $2,00000
or more. Bids exceeding $25,00000 may
require a larger deposit. The bid-fee
may be waived for new customers and those with a long-standing business relationship with Angelheart
Woodworking (subject to the discretion of the owner/proprietor).
If
you have any questions about these policies or are unsure which will be the best approach
for you, please feel free to write or call. We are happy to offer any help we can,
remember, we want you to be happy !
