Being a geoscientist isn't always easy!

Sure, we get to enjoy some of the most remote and pristine elements this planet has to offer but we get to work while we do it. On these pages you will find the more enjoyable aspects of "being in the field". There have been many field experiences that I have been apart of on which I did not have a camera. Recently I changed all of that and bought myself a camera. Amazingly enough, these pictures are not taken with a fancy, expensive camera, but simply a Pentax IQ-Zoom. It is my hope that these pictures bring to you some of the beauty I have encountered in my life. It is also my hope that you too find the opportunity to enjoy these places as they are our National Treasures. Links provided above (some of the pages have multiple large .jpg files (400K)).
