Ever since tower computer models made their way onto the market I was always looking down at my monitor which was always putting strain on my neck. I wanted my monitor raised up so I could look directly at the center of the monitor. I always decided that this space could be used effectively to store documents "in play". I designed the following monitor stands to give my neck a break and provide some organizational space for my desk. The first is of solid walnut with a simple Watco natural stain with three final coats of Deft. The joinery is mainly rabbets and a center dado with brass screws. Pricing for these items is widely varied and I will only accept orders of ten or more for this item.
The following is of the same design but these are made of "Baltic Birch" plywood which is a seven ply laminate with birch on both faces. This product is mainly used for drawer stock in kitchen cabinet applications. Although we mainly specialize in custom, one of a kind pieces, these products are available in orders of ten or more. Since the materials used determines the price you must call for pricing. I should also say that I am very happy with these items and when I sit at a computer where the monitor sets down on the table/desk top I realize how truly happy I am with this design.
