The design for this piece comes from a music stand I had built many years ago. This piece is solid Maple and finished with three coats of watco and three coats of a marine grade varnish. The base receives the legs in vertical dados. This detail can be seen in the second picture below. This coat rack is 72 " tall with base diameter, with the legs, is 16" in diameter. The legs and coat "pegs" are 1" thick stock. This piece is very sturdy to support winter coats. The price tag on this coat rack is approximately $750.
